Materialised - Organic plastic cooked on a base of water, vegetable starch, glucose and agar mixed with dried flowers, coffee, clay and seaweed.

An examination in material and their characteristics seeking to create an experience that is more than just practical and functional—a material that also evoke emotion.

What if form did not just follow function or the most effective production, but also followed feeling?

A more humanistic approach to design. One that celebrates the tension between a designers and their responsibility in a world that now needs to deal with the remains of decades of capitalistic and unsustainable production and living. One that allows us to investigate our surroundings and start building a future a little more bright and hopefull.

The project was exhibited in Österlens museum in June 2021.
