A comment to the lack of female representation in surf media. In my research for this project I concluded a research showing that out of 10 large surf brands (+ 40 k followers on Instagram), female surfers or photographers were represented as little as 2% in their instagram feeds. How are we supposed to feel seen, pushed and inspired doing a sport we love when no role models or source of female inspiration is to be seen?

Therefore, I decided to create Coldwater Conversations. To create that space for me and my female friends, surfers and creatives to be seen and represented.
